Is there anything better then a full length velvet Pucci skirt? I think they are one of my favorite vintage pieces and everyone should have one in their closet. You can throw them on with just about anything and it works. The colors in them and the prints are just wonderful. It is literally like wearing a work of art. They work as well with flats as they do with a heel. Here we have a stunning version done in A slightly more subtle print for him, but it still has one of his signature designs worked onto the fabric. This one suggests long and winding tassels that are suspended from a diamond grid that circles the hips. The cut is slightly different from his classic streamlined silhouette. It has more volume and sweep then his usual maxi skirts. This is created by a long inverted pleat that runs down the front and even my photos do not give it justice as far as how full the bottom is by the time it reaches the hem. The velvet gives it enough weight to hold the shape so it always looks perfect once on. On each hip there are slash pockets for the perfect finish. These can be worn year round as they are made out of a cotton velvet so breathes well. It is just fantastic and I love it. Excellent condition with one minor note below
Lined in a black silk and closes with a side, hidden set painted metal zipper and hook and eye at the waist. The zipper seems a little bumpy in the way it is set and was most likely replaces at some point. Hand finished and signed throughout.
